Data Deletion

1. Overview

This page explains how to delete the personal data Zybo AI ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Zyfolks Technologies LLP (a limited liability partnership registered in Kerala, India), holds about you. It complements the retention and rights sections of our Privacy Policy.

How you delete your data depends on which kind of user you are:

• You have a Zybo AI account (you signed up for a workspace and use the dashboard) — see section 2.
• You chatted with a business through a Zybo AI widget (you are an end-user / visitor, not a Zybo AI customer) — see section 3.
• You reached a business over WhatsApp, Instagram, or Messenger that the business connected through Zybo AI — see section 4.

2. Deleting your account or workspace

If you hold a Zybo AI account, you can delete your data yourself from the dashboard at app.zybo.ai:

• Delete your account — open Settings → Profile and choose to schedule account deletion.
• Delete a workspace (and everything in it — AI agents, knowledge-base documents, conversations, and team data) — an owner opens Settings → Workspace and schedules workspace deletion.

Deletion runs on a 30-day grace period. After you schedule it, you (or any other owner) can cancel within those 30 days; we email reminders at 7 days and 1 day before the purge. Once the window closes, a daily lifecycle worker hard-deletes the account or workspace and all associated data.

Billing records (invoices and subscription history) may be retained after deletion where we are required to keep them for tax and accounting law. Everything else is removed.

Prefer us to do it for you, or can't sign in? Email support@zybo.ai from the address on your account and we will process the deletion on your behalf.

3. Deleting end-user / visitor data

If you chatted with a business through a Zybo AI chat widget, the business — not Zybo AI — is the data controller for that conversation. Zybo AI stores it on the business's behalf as a data processor.

You have two ways to request deletion of that data (your messages, any name / email / phone you provided, and the visitor record tied to your session):

• Contact the business you were chatting with and ask them to delete your conversation and contact record. They can remove it from their Zybo AI dashboard.
• Email us at support@zybo.ai with enough detail to locate your records (the website where you chatted, and the name / email / phone you used). We will route the request to the relevant business and assist with deletion as their processor.

We honour the browser Do-Not-Track signal, and our optional pre-chat visitor map stores only coarse geolocation and device class — never your raw IP or full browser string. See Privacy Policy § 6.

4. WhatsApp, Instagram & Messenger

When a business connects its WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook Messenger account to Zybo AI, we receive and store the messages exchanged on those channels so the business can answer them from its inbox. As with the chat widget, the business is the controller and Zybo AI is the processor.

To delete data we hold from a Meta channel:

• Ask the business you messaged to delete your conversation and contact record from its Zybo AI inbox, or
• Email support@zybo.ai with the channel (WhatsApp / Instagram / Messenger), the business or phone number / handle you contacted, and the name or identifier you used. We will locate and delete the associated records and route the request to the business.

We do not sell this data or use it for advertising. We hold it only to deliver the messaging service the business uses.

5. How to make a request

For anything not covered by the self-service controls above, email support@zybo.ai with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include enough information for us to identify your records. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting, to protect against unauthorised deletion.

We aim to acknowledge requests within 5 business days and to complete verified deletions within 30 days, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.
